In this article, I’ve mentioned a few spices that you can find in your kitchen, which will eliminate the root cause of all your hair problems.
Who does not want thick luscious hair?? I’ll guess everyone!! But with so many hair problems like dandruff, split-ends, hair thinning, receding hairline, etc. our hair really suffers, and on top of that, the increase in pollution makes our hair vulnerable.

Here I’ve mentioned a few spices that can stimulate hair growth:
1- Fenugreek Seeds:
Fenugreek seeds, also known as Methi, are probably one of the best spices that promote hair growth. It is a common ingredient that can be found in every Indian household, which is loaded with folic acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin K & Vitamin C.
- How to use??
Fenugreek seeds not only nourish hair & scalp but also fight off dandruff. Just soak a handful of seeds in water overnight and then blend it. Use that to wash your hair or mix it with oil.
2- Black Pepper:
Black pepper is a great spice for improving digestion and blood circulation, and that allows our body to absorb all the nutrients accurately. All these nutrients allow our hair to grow rapidly and healthily.
- How to use??
Blend black pepper in olive oil and leave it for about 2 hours. Use the paste as a hair mask and leave it for 30–45 minutes. Wash your hair with cold water. You can also use black pepper powder instead of using whole peppercorns.
3- Cinnamon:
Cinnamon or Dalchini is yet another hair growth agent. It will boost the blood flow in the scalp and keep the infections, dryness, itchiness at bay. For more accurate results, apply cinnamon directly to your scalp, it will stimulate your hair follicles & thus will promote hair growth.
- How to use??
Mix cinnamon powder with honey and warm olive oil and apply the mixture to your damp hair and massage your scalp gently with it for 10 minutes and rinse it off.
4- Sesame Seeds:
Sesame seeds are loaded with calcium and magnesium- these nutrients are essential for the growth of your beautiful locks. Moreover, it also has copper, which fights off premature greying, and omega fatty acids, which strengthens your roots.
- How to use??
Regular intake of sesame seeds intake can assist you in your efforts to make your hair healthy, and you can directly apply warm sesame oil on your scalp and massage gently.
5- Cumin:
If you are into cooking, you must have used cumin seeds while tempering. Cumin seeds have similar qualities to that of oregano. And it also benefits your hair to a great extent. It strengthens hair follicles and adverse the effects of chemical damage.
- How to use??
Boil cumin seeds in water and then filter the seeds. Add olive oil in water and massage your scalp gently with a cotton ball. Leave it for 10–15 minutes, and then wash your hair with cold water.
