Marwadi University, Faculty of Law, has been placed amongst only a few of the handful universities in the category of Top Law Schools in India in the Forbes India “Legal Powerlist 2020.’’

It is a moment of great pride and pleasure for Marwadi University and the state of Gujarat. With this achievement, Marwadi University becomes one of the few excellent universities in Gujarat that has been honoured with this feat.

Beginning with what is the Forbes India’s ‘’Legal Powerlist 2020'’ about:

“Legal Powerlist 2020” has been initiated by Forbes India in association with Legitquest. The initiative aims to identify deserving winners in various legal categories and felicitate them. Talking about the ‘Top Law School’ category, the main aim is to highlight those law schools that nurture students to become excellent lawyers and ultimate professionals.

On this proud moment of being honoured as one of the top law schools, Dr Rhishikesh Dave, the Dean at Faculty of Law at Marwadi University, said, “Marwadi University, Faculty of Law, is one of the youngest and fastest-growing law schools of Gujarat — making a name in the national and international arena”.

He further added, “Getting featured in the FORBES LEGAL POWERLIST 2020 is indeed an honour and also suggests that we are working in the right direction to fulfil the vision of making this law school one of the best institutes across the globe”.

How Are The Law Aspirants Nurtured at the Faculty of Law, Marwadi University?

Faculty of Law aspires to become an international centre of excellence in legal education, training and research.   • Students attend lectures from legal industry experts like judges, partners, lawyers, corporate lawyers etc., and learn from their experiences.
  • Courses in collaboration with national and international universities offered to aspirants to leverage from.
  • Students need to study various programs to develop excellent communication skills and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Specializations and electives offered to the students in the programmes are based on industry requirements and are highly demanded.
  • Students are open to specializing in Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, Constitutional Law and Criminal Law.
  • Electives that students can choose from are Air & Space Law, Maritime Law, Sports Law, Energy Law, Cyber Law, Health Law, Water Law, Food Law, Infrastructure Law and Law of War.
